If you have completed your RBT Training with somebody other than Jigsaw Training, please click on the below buttons before beginning this course.
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam is an important certification for those looking to work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This mini-course is designed to help you prepare for the RBT examination offered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Before completing this course, you should have already completed your RBT Training Course and have competed, or intend to shortly complete, your RBT Competency Assessment.
The RBT Examination is composed of 85 multiple choice questions and you have 90 minutes to complete the exam. Seventy-five of those questions count towards your final score. The remaining 10 questions are test (unweighted) questions. The examination is based on the RBT Task List (2nd ed). The Task List is broken down into six sections based on the six primary duties of an RBT.
- Measurement (10 questions)
- Assessment (8 questions)
- Skill Acquisition (24 questions)
- Behavior Reduction (12 questions)
- Documentation and Reporting (10 questions)
- Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice (11 questions)
This revision course and accompanying guide mirrors the structure of the task-list. It has 6 modules and each module covers content related to the corresponding section of the task-list. In addition, each module is structured around the task items within the corresponding section of the task-list. This is to help you ensure that you are revising all of the relevant content that you need to know for the exam. Each of the modules contains information on what you need to know for each task list item, the key terms associated with that section of the task list, video resources and a quiz based on the task list section. You can take each quiz up to 20 times.

Before beginning this course, it is strongly advised that you read the RBT Handbook, the RBT Task List and the RBT Ethics Code. This course is offered independently of the BACB.
Once you’ve completed the modules, we recommend taking the Mock Exam. You can take this exam up to 20 times. It is generated from a question bank of over 400 questions. This means that each exam will be different. You have 90 minutes to complete this exam and you will receive feedback on your performance by task list area.
