RBT Certification Pack – Upgrade Your Training & Get Exam-Ready

The RBT Certification Pack is for learners who have completed (or are completing) our free 40-hour RBT training and need the official training certificate used in the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification application process.

The free course provides the training hours. This upgrade verifies that training and prepares you for the exam.

To apply for the RBT certification exam, the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requires two components:

• a completed 40-hour training
• a competency assessment conducted by a qualified behaviour analyst

The certificate issued through this pack documents your completed training and is submitted by you to the BACB as part of your RBT application.

This training programme is designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification. The BACB sets certification standards and awards the credential, while training providers deliver and verify the coursework.

What the Certification Pack includes

RBT Training Completion Certificate
Issued after a successful Course Completion Review. This is the official document confirming you completed the required 40-hour training. It is required before you can be authorised to sit the RBT certification exam (alongside a competency assessment). The certificate confirms training completion and is not itself the RBT credential.

Course Completion Review
A short written review confirming the training was completed independently and within the 180-day training window required by BACB rules.

RBT Study Guide and Revision Materials
Immediate access to structured exam preparation covering the RBT task content areas, including measurement and data collection, skill acquisition procedures and prompting, reinforcement and behaviour reduction strategies, documentation and reporting, and professional conduct and ethics.

Mini Revision Course
Short refresher lessons that walk through key procedures and concepts step-by-step.

Up to 20 Full-Length Practice Exams
Timed mock exams modelled on the structure of the RBT certification exam to help you assess readiness and build confidence.

Purchasing the pack provides immediate access to all revision materials. Access to the certificate is granted after successful completion of the full course and Course Completion Review.

Licences only need to be assigned when a staff member completes the free training, allowing organisations to:

Certificates are issued exclusively by Jigsaw Training and cannot be issued by employers, supervisors, or based on other providers’ coursework.

Important information

Certificates are issued only after manual review confirming the course was completed independently and within 180 days of starting.  The 180-day timeframe applies to learners who intend to use the certificate for the RBT certification application process. Learners completing the course for continuing professional development (CPD) or general training may take longer to finish the course and can still request a certificate once all lessons and the Course Completion Review are completed.

All certificates include the required 2026 wording:
“This training programme is designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification. This training is offered independent of the BACB.”

RBT certification is awarded by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Certification requires both the training certificate and a completed competency assessment, followed by BACB approval and passing the RBT exam.

BACB certification is not available in all locations, and access to supervisors for competency assessments varies by region. Please confirm eligibility in your area before purchasing for certification purposes.

Refunds

Because access to revision materials is provided immediately and certificate processing begins once the Course Completion Review is attempted, purchases are non-refundable except in cases of accidental duplicate payment (for example, a double checkout). If this occurs, please contact us and we will promptly refund the additional charge.
