This course is designed to help you become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Understanding the role of the RBT requires understanding the role and history of the certifying body ? the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
In lesson 1, you’ll learn about the purpose of the BACB and how certification relates to protecting consumers from incompetent practice.
Registered Behavior Technicians play an important role within the tiered service delivery model usually adopted within intense, individualised ABA models. In Lesson 2, you’ll learn about the role of the RBT within that tiered service delivery model.
Supervision and training are important within ABA. Registered Behavior Technicians are required to obtain supervision and be observed working with clients in order to maintain their certification. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to meet those supervision requirements.
